The Nine Hole Knockabout
In this modern age with people having to work longer, or with their time taken up with the family needs, or maybe they simply cannot spare four or five hours to play a full round of golf.
To help with this, Seaham Golf Club are introducing on August 18th a chance to play our registered Nine Hole course. This comprises Holes 1; 2; 3; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16 and 18 (missing out the infamous 17th).
On this first introduction, play will start at 2.00 pm and run for the rest of the day open to all golfers.
Members play free of charge and Visitors will pay £5 for the Nine Holes.
There is no specified format on this day, play your own game and try out the Nine Holes.
The Management are in agreement with England Golf on making a shorter game available to all and would like to introduce a regular Nine Hole competition in the near future.

David Sharkey, Head Greenkeeper offers monthly updates to the Greens Committee around all aspects of the course and its maintenance. Minutes of these meetings are available in the Greens Minutes folder outside of the Secretaries office in the clubhouse should anyone wish to keep abreast of all things green keeping.
